Delete your account
Vialmate: Peptide Tracker, for iPhone and Android
Short version. Deleting your account permanently removes it and its whole cloud copy (protocols, vials and dose history). You can do it in the app in a few taps, or ask us by email if you no longer have the app.
In the app
- Open Settings → Cloud backup → Delete account and confirm.
- If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm once more; Vialmate is then also removed from your Apple ID’s “Sign in with Apple” list.
- The account and its cloud copy are deleted from our live database right away.
Without the app
Write to [email protected] from the email address of your account, with the subject “Delete my Vialmate account”. If you signed in with Apple using Hide My Email, write from your Apple ID’s address and say so. We delete the account and its cloud copy within 30 days and reply when it’s done.
What is deleted, and what stays
- Deleted: your account (email address and sign-in details) and everything in the cloud copy: compounds, protocols, vials, dose history and notes.
- Stays on your phone: the data stored in the app itself, until you use Settings → Your data → Delete all data or uninstall the app.
- Purchases: a Vialmate Pro subscription is billed by Apple or Google and is not canceled by deleting your account. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.
How long data is kept
- While you have an account: the cloud copy is kept until you delete the account or the records in it.
- After you delete the account in the app: removed from our live database right away. Copies in our hosting provider’s database backups, if any, are gone within 14 days, as older backups are replaced.
- After an email request: deleted within 30 days of your email, then the same as above.
- Purchase records: Apple or Google and our subscription provider (RevenueCat) keep the record of a Vialmate Pro purchase as long as needed for billing, tax and refunds. It contains no health data and is not linked to your email.
